Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 c
- cooking oil
- chopped onions
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- rice - 3 c
- shrimp, cleaned - 2 lb
How to make shrimp jambalaya:
Add onions to 1/4 cup of cooking oil and cook until dark golden brown. Add shrimp to onions and saut. Add well washed rice with water; salt rice to taste. Bring to a boil until almost all the water has evaporated. Stir mixture well. Cover on real low fire until cooked, about 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Shrimp.
