- flour
- butter - 1 lb
- dash of salt - 1 item
- superfine sugar - 1 c
How to make shortbread:
For smaller cookie sheet:3/4 lb. butter3/4 c. superfine sugar4 c. flour dash of salt Cream butter. Add sugar a little at a time. Sift flour and salt twice. Mix together and chill. Spread on ungreased pan and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. While warm, cut in 1-inch squares and prick surface of each with a fork.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, English.
