Seafoam salad
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese
- half and half - 2 Tbsp
- lime jello
- large can pears, cut into small pieces - 1 item
- whipped cream* - 1 c
How to make seafoam salad:
*Cool Whip can be used, but the whipped cream is so delightful.Drain juice from pears; reserve juice. Heat 1 cup juice to boiling, then pour over lime jello and stir until dissolved. Cool. Mix the cream cheese with the half and half; stir until smooth. Add jello mixture; beat with hand mixer until well blended. Chill until partially thickened. Fold in drained, cut up pears and whipped cream. Pour into mold and chill. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
Note: This recipe we make for our special dinners; it is rich, but so delicious. Great salad for your Christmas dinner.
