Ingredients/Components
- large egg, beaten - 1 item
- deep fat for frying - 1 item
- hard-boiled eggs, shelled - 5 item
- firmly packed sausage meat - 2 c
- dusting of flour - 1 item
- dry white breadcrumbs - 1 item
How to make scotch eggs:
Dust each egg with a little flour. Divide the sausage meat into 5 pieces. On a floured surface, work each piece into an oval. Place an egg into the center of each one; mold the sausage meat around it, making sure the surface is free from cracks. Put tRecipe categories: Appetizers, Beef, Pork.
