- milk
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- fine bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1/4 tsp
- sharp cheese, packed down
- cubed boiled potatoes 3/4-inch pieces - 1 qt
How to make scalloped potatoes with cheese:
Melt butter in 1-quart saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in milk and flour. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Stir in 1 cup cheese and salt and pepper. Pour potatoes into 2-quart casserole. Cover potatoes with sauce. SpRecipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
