- milk - 3 c
- salt
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- medium potatoes, thinly sliced - 6 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Make white sauce of first 5 ingredients. Place half the potatoes in greased 2-quart casserole; cover with half the onion and half the sauce. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350° about 1 hour. Uncover and bake another 30 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.Shredded cheese may be added to sauce, if desired.
