Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- onion - 1/4 c
- green pepper - 1/4 c
- buttered bread crumbs - 1 item
- corn - 2 c
How to make scalloped corn:
Saute the onion and green pepper in the butter. Blend in and cook until bubbly the flour, paprika, dash of pepper, salt and dry mustard. Remove from heat. Add the milk gradually. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add the corn and egg. Pour into 1-quart baking dish. Top with buttered bread crumbs.
