  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • chicken broth - 1/2 c
  • slices bacon - 4 item
  • asparagus, slant cut

How to make sauteed asparagus:

Fry bacon; drain and break into bits. Parboil asparagus 2 to 4 minutes. Cool immediately in cold water. Then stir-fry in bacon grease. Add mixture of chicken broth, soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch. Heat until bubbly. Sprinkle with bacon bits and serve.
