Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- fresh parsley - 1 item
- red wine - 1 c
- beef broth - 5 c
- garlic cloves - 2 item
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- onions - 1 c
- zucchini - 1 c
- cut carrots - 1 c
- bag frozen tortellini - 1 (15
- Italian sausage sweet or hot - 1 lb
- hot garlic bread - 1 item
How to make sausage soup:
Saute Italian sausage, onion and garlic cloves. Add stewed tomatoes, beef broth, water, red wine, carrots, basil, oregano and tomato paste. Cook for 1 hour.One hour before serving, add zucchini, frozen tortellini and fresh parsley. Serve with hot garlic bread.
