Sausage pinwheels
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2/3 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
- sausage - 1 lb
How to make sausage pinwheels:
Cut shortening into flour, add milk and stir to make a soft dough. Roll out on floured board to make a rectangle. Spread sausage on top. Roll from side to make a long roll. Cut into slices and place, cut side down, onto ungreased cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 400° until brown.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Appetizers, Pork sausage.
