Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- sausage - 1 lb
- Mozzarella cheese - 4 oz
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- 9-inch pie shells - 2 item
- Line pie shell with cheese, then sausage
- yeast - 1 pkg
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- shortening - 1/4 c
- buttermilk - 3/4 c
How to make breakfast pie:
Brown sausage; drain. Line pie shell with cheese, then sausage. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper and pour over sausage. Bake 30 minutes at 375°.Rolls:1/2 c. water1 pkg. yeast2 c. self-rising flour2 Tbsp. sugar1/4 c. shortening3/4 c. buttermilk Mix yeast with water. Add remaining ingredients and mix like biscuits.
