Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- shortening - 1/3 c
- plain flour - 2 c
- sausage - 1 lb
How to make sausage pinwheels:
Sift dry ingredients. Work in shortening. Add milk and mix well. Divide dough in half. Roll each half until 1/4-inch thick. Divide sausage in half and spread evenly over dough. Roll each into a roll. Slice and bake at 400° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Appetizers, Pork sausage.
