Ingredients/Components
- sausage, at room temperature - 1 lb
- grated Cheddar cheese, at room temperature - 8 oz
- prepared biscuit mix Pioneer or Bisquick - 2 c
- picante sauce or hot sauce optional - 2 Tbsp
How to make sausage-cheese balls:
Combine all ingredients. Mix until well blended. Form 1-inch balls. Place on large shallow baking pan that has been greased. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 10 to 12 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, High calcium.
