Sausage breakfast casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sausage - 1 lb
- slices white bread, remove crusts - 6 item
- shredded Longhorn cheese
- eggs - 5 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- softened margarine - 1 item
- half and half - 2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
How to make sausage breakfast casserole:
Cook sausage until done; crumble and drain. Spread each slice of bread with butter. Cut into cubes and place in 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with sausage, then top with cheese. Combine remaining ingredients and beat well. Pour over the top of sausage. Chill for 8 hours. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
