Sausage breakfast casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 1 item
- eggs, well beaten - 6 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
- sausage, fried and drained - 1 lb
- slices bread, crust removed - 6 item
How to make sausage breakfast casserole:
Butter a 9x13 inch dish. Spread margarine on bread slices, place in baking dish. Crumble sausage over bread, sprinkle cheese over sausage. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper, mix well. Pour over cheese. Cover casserole and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake casserole uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes or until set and cheese is bubbling.
