Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 c
- parsley flakes - 2 Tbsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- Minute rice - 3 c
- onion - 1 c
- sausage - 1 lb
- Velveeta cheese, sliced - 1 c
- garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make sausage and rice:
Brown sausage; drain. Add onion; cook until tender. Stir in water and oregano. Bring to boil. Stir in rice and parsley. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes; fluff with fork. Stir in cheese and mushroom soup. Heat until cheese is melted.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, One Dish meal.
