Ingredients/Components
- milk
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 10 oz
- hot sausage, browned and drained - 1 lb
- cooked grits, slightly cooled - 3 c
How to make sausage and grits casserole:
Mix all ingredients. Place in greased 2-quart casserole and bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Main dish, Casseroles.
