Ingredients/Components
- grits uncooked - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce
- grated extra sharp Cheddar cheese - 3/4 lb
- stick butter - 1 item
- clove garlic, grated - 1 item
- dash of Tabasco - 1 item
- egg whites - 2 item
How to make garlic cheese grits:
Cook the cup of grits according to directions on package. Add butter, Worcestershire, cheese, garlic and Tabasco. Let cool. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into cooled grits and pour into casserole dish. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes until slightly brown on top.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Grains, Side dish.
