Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
  • hot sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled - 1 lb
  • slices thick bread, buttered and cubed - 3 item

How to make sausage and egg casserole:

Put cubed bread in bottom of casserole dish; put sausage over bread crumbs (use 2-quart dish). Pour egg and milk mixture over this and top with grated cheese. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
