Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- hot sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled - 1 lb
- slices thick bread, buttered and cubed - 3 item
How to make sausage and egg casserole:
Put cubed bread in bottom of casserole dish; put sausage over bread crumbs (use 2-quart dish). Pour egg and milk mixture over this and top with grated cheese. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Holiday, Breakfast, Casseroles.
