  • cream cheese - 3 oz
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • chopped walnuts
  • margarine - 1/4 lb
  • softened margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • Roll into 24 balls the size of a quarter

How to make nut cups:

Mix together. Roll into 24 balls the size of a quarter. Refrigerate until firm while preparing filling.Filling:3/4 c. light brown sugar1 egg1 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts1 Tbsp. softened margarine Mix by hand. Remove pastry from refrigerator and press balls on bottom and sides of a small muffin tin, forming a tart. Fill pastry shells to top with filling. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes until shells are light brown. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Makes 2 dozen.
