  • egg - 1 item
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • can whole cranberry sauce - 1 item
  • bottle Heinz chili sauce - 1 item
  • can sauerkraut - 1 (2
  • onion soup - 1 pkg
  • bottle water - 1 item

How to make sauerkraut meatballs:

Mix the first 4 ingredients together; make into meatballs (do not brown). Place meatballs in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Combine the sauerkraut and chili sauce, then fill the bottle with water one time. Mix together with the cranberry sauce and brown sugar; simmer for 15 minutes. Pour over meatballs; bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 4 to 6.
