- brown sugar - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- ground beef - 2 lb
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- can whole cranberry sauce - 1 item
- bottle Heinz chili sauce - 1 item
- can sauerkraut - 1 (2
- onion soup - 1 pkg
- bottle water - 1 item
How to make sauerkraut meatballs:
Mix the first 4 ingredients together; make into meatballs (do not brown). Place meatballs in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.Combine the sauerkraut and chili sauce, then fill the bottle with water one time. Mix together with the cranberry sauce and brown sugar; simmer for 15 minutes. Pour over meatballs; bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 4 to 6.
