Ingredients/Components

  • cream cheese - 3 oz
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
  • parsley - 2 tsp
  • grated onion - 1/4 c
  • mild sausage - 1 lb
  • can sauerkraut, drained and chopped - 1 lb

How to make sauerkraut balls:

Brown sausage and drain. Put sauerkraut in blender and chop up fine and drain. Put all ingredients in skillet. Add cheese to melt; mix well. Refrigerate 24 hours. Make into small balls. Dip in flour, egg and bread crumbs. Deep fry until golden brown in color.
