  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • prepared mustard - 1 tsp
  • fine bread crumbs - 3/4 c
  • bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • pork sausage - 1/2 lb

How to make sauerkraut balls:

In skillet, cook sausage and onion until brown. Add sauerkraut, well drained and chopped fine, and 2 tablespoons bread crumbs. Combine cream cheese, parsley, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir into kraut mixture. Shape into 30 (3/4-inch) balls and coat with flour. Combine eggs and milk. Roll floured balls in egg mixture and then in crumbs. Place on cookie sheet; cover with foil and bake 30 minutes in 350° oven.
