Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- fine bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- pork sausage - 1/2 lb
How to make sauerkraut balls:
In skillet, cook sausage and onion until brown. Add sauerkraut, well drained and chopped fine, and 2 tablespoons bread crumbs. Combine cream cheese, parsley, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir into kraut mixture. Shape into 30 (3/4-inch) balls and coat with flour. Combine eggs and milk. Roll floured balls in egg mixture and then in crumbs.
