Sauerkraut balls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- parsley - 3 Tbsp
- sausage - 1 lb
- large jar or can sauerkraut - 1 item
How to make sauerkraut balls:
Drain and chop sauerkraut. Brown sausage, ground beef and onion. Add all other ingredients except bread crumbs and eggs. Brown. Remove from fire; stir in bread crumbs. Cool. Beat 1 egg and stir in. Form into balls. Refrigerate or freeze balls for an hour or so to make them easier to dip. Dip in mixture of 2 eggs and 1/4 cup milk. Roll in bread crumbs.
