  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • melted butter - 2 Tbsp
  • boiling water - 1/2 c
  • paprika - 1/8 tsp
  • minced parsley
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • lemon juice optional - 1 tsp
  • canned salmon - 2 c
  • soft bread crumbs or cooked rice - 2 c
  • Flake the fish and combine with all the other ingredients including liquid from fish

How to make salmon loaf:

Drain salmon, reserving the liquid. Flake the fish and combine with all the other ingredients including liquid from fish. Shape into loaf and place in a greased baking pan. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes. Serves 6. Serve with creamed peas or white sauce to which catsup has been added just before serving or lemon sauce made by cooking together until thick.Lemon Sauce:1/2 c. butter2 eggs juice of 1/2 lemon1/2 tsp. salt1/8 tsp. paprika1/2 c. boiling water
