Garlic cheese grits
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1/4 item
- boiling water - 4 c
- paprika - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- dash of Tabasco - 1 item
- grits - 1 c
- small roll garlic cheese - 1 item
How to make garlic cheese grits:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cook grits in boiling, salted water until done (about 25 to 30 minutes). Add Cheddar cheese, garlic cheese and margarine and stir until melted. Beat eggs with milk. Add Tabasco and salt; mix together with grits mixture. Pour into a well-greased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with paprika.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Grains, Side dish.
