Salmon asparagus pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- milk
- biscuit mix - 1 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- green onions, chopped - 1/4 c
- Swiss cheese, grated
- can salmon or tuna, drained and flaked - 1 1/2
- fresh or frozen asparagus, cut in 1-inch pieces - 1 lb
How to make salmon asparagus pie:
Thaw and drain asparagus if frozen. Grease 10-inch pie plate or quiche pan. Put into pie plate in order: asparagus, onion, 3/4 of cheese and fish.To blender add milk, eggs, biscuit mix and seasonings; blend on high for 15 seconds. Or, with hand mixer, beat until smooth. Pour over ingredients in pie plate. Bake at 400° for 40 to 45 minutes. Last 5 minutes, add remaining cheese. Serves 6.
