Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • slices bread, cubed - 2 item
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • parsley - 1 2
  • small amount milk - 1 item
  • onion to suit taste - 1 item
  • can salmon large, drained - 1 item
  • Add milk if needed to have a meat loaf consistency

How to make salmon loaf:

Drain salmon; put salmon, egg, onion, parsley, lemon juice, bread, baking soda, salt and pepper in bowl and mix. Add milk if needed to have a meat loaf consistency. Place in loaf pan. Bake at 350° for at least 1 hour. Serve sliced, with White Sauce.White Sauce:2 Tbsp. flour2 Tbsp. margarine flour1 c. milk In saucepan, place flour and margarine. Melt margarine and stir up with flour to a paste. Add milk. Continue stirring until thickened.
