Ingredients/Components

  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • onion, chopped - 1/4 c
  • cracker crumbs - 1/4 c
  • chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • celery, chopped - 1/4 c
  • green pepper optional - 1/4 c
  • bulk sausage - 1/2 lb

How to make salisbury steak:

Brown onion and celery in margarine until golden. Combine meats with other ingredients and then spoon celery and onion into mixture. Mold into thick patties. Place in a well-greased baking dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Make and pour brown gravy over patties.
