Salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- prepared horseradish - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- sliced mushrooms - 1 to
- saltine cracker crumbs - 1/4 c
- egg white, lightly beaten - 1 item
- beef gravy - 12 oz
How to make salisbury steak:
In a bowl combine beef, egg white, onion, crumbs, milk, horseradish, salt and pepper. Shape into 4 oval patties. Fry in skillet over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cooked, turning once. Remove patties. Keep warm. Add gravy, mushrooms and water to skillet and heat 3 to 5 minutes.
