  • water - 1 c
  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • onion powder - 1/4 tsp
  • liquid smoke
  • mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
  • coarse pepper - 1 tsp
  • Morton Tender Quick salt - 2 Tbsp

How to make salami:

Mix all ingredients well. Divide into 2 rolls about as round as a cracker. Wrap tightly in foil; refrigerate for 24 hours. Take out, unwrap and place on a rack. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours. Turn meat over when half done.
