Royal marble cheesecake
Ingredients/Components

- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- eggs, separated - 6 item
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- plus 1 c - 2 Tbsp
How to make royal marble cheesecake:
Heat oven to 400°. Melt chocolate chips in double boiler. Combine 3/4 cup flour, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cut in butter until fine particles. Stir in 2 tablespoons melted chocolate. Press into spring-form pan. Bake for 10 minutes.Soften cream cheese with 1 cup sugar. Add 1/4 cup flour. Add vanilla. Add egg yolks, one at a time. Add sour cream. Beat egg whites (in another bowl) to soft peaks. Fold egg whites into batter.
Mix 1/3 cup batter with remaining chocolate. Place 1/2 white batter onto baked crust. Spoon spoonfuls of chocolate batter on top and marble with knife. Repeat. Place in 400° oven and immediately turn oven to 300°; bake for 1 hour, turning pan at 30 minutes. Turn off oven and leave in oven for 2 to 3 hours. Chill at least 8 hours before serving (the longer the better). Use wet knife to cut.
