Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- can evaporated milk - 1 item
- uncooked rice - 3/4 c
- hot water 4 c - 1 qt
How to make rice pudding:
Bring the ingredients to a boil. Lower heat and cook slowly for 3/4 of an hour and stir occasionally.Beat in a bowl, 2 eggs, 2/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add about 1 cup of the cooked, hot mixture to the egg mixture and then add to the remaining hot cooked mixture, while the rice is still boiling. Cook for 1 minute. Add cinnamon on top. Chill and serve.
