Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- can water - 1 item
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
- Lipton onion soup mix - 2 pkg
- can beef consomme - 1 item
- round steak to serve 6 persons
How to make swiss steak:
Cut meat into serving size. Flour, salt and pepper on one side. Pound with mallet to tenderize. Repeat the procedure to the other side. Brown in oil. Mix soups and water together. Place meat in casserole. Pour soup mixture over meat. Cover; bake at 350° for 2 hours.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
