Rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 oz
- small can mushrooms, drained and chopped reserve juice to add with soup - 1 item
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 5 oz
- toasted, chopped almonds - 1/2 c
- cooked rice - 2 c
How to make rice casserole:
Saute onion in melted butter until tender. Stir in mushroom soup and juice; mix well. Add cheese, mushrooms and almonds. Mix with rice and put in buttered casserole. Bake 20 minutes at 350° or until bubbly.Recipe categories: Side dish, Main dish, Casseroles.
