  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • stick butter or margarine - 1 item
  • rhubarb, cut in small pieces about 4 stalks

How to make rhubarb kuchen:

Mix together the first 7 ingredients. Add rhubarb and mix until combined. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Combine 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until done. Can be served with whipped cream or ice cream.
