Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • fresh rhubarb pieces - 4 c

How to make rhubarb crunch:

Cut rhubarb into 1/2-inch lengths. Mix 2 tablespoons with 1 cup of sugar and mix with rhubarb. Combine 1 cup of flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in egg. Sprinkle over rhubarb. Bake 40 minutes at 350° or until brown. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
