Rhubarb crunch
Ingredients/Components
- sifted flour - 1 c
- oatmeal - 3/4 c
- brown sugar, firmly packed - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- diced rhubarb - 4 c
- sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
How to make rhubarb crunch:
Mix the first 5 ingredients until crumbly. Press 1/2 of mixture into a greased 9-inch pan. Pour rhubarb over crumbly mixture in pan. Combine and cook the remaining 4 ingredients until thick and clear. Pour over rhubarb and top with remaining crumbly mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
