Chocolate oatmeal chippers
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 1/2
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- 2 sticks margarine or butter, softened - 1 c
- Quaker oats quick or old fashioned, uncooked - 2 c
- Nestle cocoa - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate oatmeal chippers:
Heat oven to 350°. Beat margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Gradually add combined flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
