Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3/4 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• flour
• butter - 1/4 c
• soda - 3/4 tsp
• baking powder - 1/4 tsp
• lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
• egg, beaten - 1 item
• large bananas - 3 item

How to make best banana bread:

Cream butter and sugar and add beaten egg, lemon juice and well mashed bananas. Add flour with baking powder, salt and soda and then add the nuts. Turn into a greased loaf pan and bake in moderate oven at 350° until toothpick comes out mostly clean. This bread is wonderfully moist and full of flavor.
