  • packed brown sugar
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • buttermilk or 1 c - 1 c
  • rhubarb, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

How to make rhubarb crumb cake:

Mix the first 9 ingredients and top with a mixture of the last 3 ingredients. Bake at 325° for 60 minutes.
