Rhubarb crisp
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- rolled oats - 3/4 c
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- Press down in a 9 x 13-inch pan
How to make rhubarb crisp:
Combine crust ingredients until crumbly. Press down in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Reserve some for top. (We double the crust.)Sauce:1 c. sugar2 Tbsp. cornstarch1 c. water1 tsp. vanilla Mix Sauce ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring constantly until thick. Put 4 cups cut up rhubarb in the crust-lined pan and pour hot sauce over. Sprinkle on reserved crumbs.
