  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • stick butter - 1/2 item
  • pecans - 1 c
  • dark Karo syrup - 1 c

How to make pecan pie:

Cook sugar until spins a good thread; add to well beaten eggs. Add melted butter, nuts and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 400°. Bake 30 minutes at 300°.
