Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- salt - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 4 c
- celery seed
- mustard seed
- turmeric
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- to 12 medium cucumbers, sliced - 8 item
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Place cucumbers and onions in a gallon jar. Mix all other ingredients cold. Pour over cucumbers. Fill to 1 inch of top. Put lid on tight. Let stand for 5 days before eating. Keep in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
