Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- green pepper - 1/4 item
- white vinegar - 1 c
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- canning salt - 1 Tbsp
- sweet red pepper - 1/4 item
- thinly sliced, unpeeled cucumbers - 7 8
- to 4 diced onions - 2 item
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Sprinkle canning salt on cucumbers, onions and peppers and let stand 1 hour, then drain (very little liquid). Stir sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed until dissolved.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
