  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • cocoa - 1 Tbsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • white or yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • bottles red food coloring - 2 item

How to make red velvet cake:

Frosting:1/4 c. flour1 c. milk2 sticks margarine1 tsp. vanilla1 c. sugar Mix cake mix and all cake ingredients. Pour into two 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350° until done. Cool.

Frosting: Mix flour and milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Cool in refrigerator. Cream the sugar, margarine and vanilla. Add cooked mixture; beat with mixer for 8 minutes. Frost cake. Keep in refrigerator.
