Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- flour
- oil - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 1 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- white or yellow cake mix - 1 item
- bottles red food coloring - 2 item
How to make red velvet cake:
Frosting:1/4 c. flour1 c. milk2 sticks margarine1 tsp. vanilla1 c. sugar Mix cake mix and all cake ingredients. Pour into two 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350° until done. Cool.Frosting: Mix flour and milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Cool in refrigerator. Cream the sugar, margarine and vanilla. Add cooked mixture; beat with mixer for 8 minutes. Frost cake. Keep in refrigerator.
