Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
- small head cabbage - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- chicken flavored Ramen noodles - 1 pkg
- sesame seed, toasted with almonds - 3 Tbsp
- toasted blanched almonds - 1 c
- to 5 diced green onions and stems - 4 item
How to make ramen salad:
Mix diced cabbage, crumbled noodles, onions, almonds, seed and chestnuts. Mix together packet of chicken flavoring from Ramen package, oil, vinegar and sugar. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss. Can be made well in advance.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Salads, Side dish.
