Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
How to make raisin scones:
Sift flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together. Cut in shortening. Add raisins. Beat eggs slightly and add enough milk to make 3/4 cup total. Stir into dry mixture. Knead lightly on floured board. Divide dough into fourths. Pat each into circlRecipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Scones.
