Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 2/3 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- raisins - 1/3 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
How to make raisin scones:
Mix together ingredients. Knead lightly and pat down onto a floured board into a 3/4-inch thick circle. Cut into 8 wedges and place individually on a cookie sheet. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
