  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • cornstarch plus 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
  • water
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • raisins - 1/3 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp

How to make raisin sauce for ham:

Combine dry ingredients. Slowly add water and vinegar. Add raisins and cook slowly over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Cook 10 minutes longer to plump raisins, then add butter. Serve as a sauce to use on ham.
